Qualification: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: +5 years of relevant experience within Shipping & Freight Forwarding Industry.

Location: Tashkent & Termez

Salary Range: $1400/Month Assistant Manager Operations – Termez

$ 1200/Month Assistant Manager Operations - Tashkent

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Team to join us in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidates will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and ensuring efficient and timely execution of our logistics operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day trucking operations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide leadership and direction to logistics team, ensuring that the team is aligned with operational goals.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely movement of goods.
• To negotiate rates with vendors such as truckers and brokers in the best interest of clients and the company.
• Oversee the coordination of redline inspections and the efficient unloading and reloading of cargo at the Termez border customs/cargo center.

• Ensure all trucking operations adhere to regulatory and safety standards and maintain comprehensive records of each shipment.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align trucking schedules with broader logistics and supply chain activities.
• To be responsible for timely reporting to customers as per agreed schedule and coordinate with customers for any documentation and operational matters.
• Lead initiatives to optimize logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies and relevant laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs and transportation legislation.

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with Central Asian transportation routes and customs procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective reporting.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations
• Willingness to travel between logistics centers and operational sites as needed.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Uzbek or Russian is a plus.
